Compliance with New Data Protection Regulation
The General Regulation on the Protection of Personal Data – Regulation No. 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council, of April 27, 2016 – in force since May 25, 2018, establishes the rules relating to protection, processing and free circulation of personal data of natural persons and which applies directly to all entities that process this data, in any member state of the European Union, including Portugal.
The purpose of this information is to inform you of the rules applicable to the processing of your personal data, your rights, as well as informing you of how you can manage, directly and in a simple way, the respective consents.
Within the scope and for the exclusive purposes of the services we provide to you, BABYCOOL, insofar as it determines the means of processing and purposes, is the entity responsible for processing your personal data and for ensuring the protection of your privacy, acting in accordance with the law and the new Regulations.

Our records include data that was obtained throughout the relationship you established with us and following the various interactions carried out with BABYCOOL.
In addition to situations in which we process data to comply with applicable legal requirements, we process your data for the following purposes:
· Provision of services - Whenever necessary, to provide you with our services, we process your personal data (home deliveries through carriers, processing of your personalized orders, item reservations, etc.).
· Effects of promotional campaigns - Your personal data is also processed for the purposes of promotional campaigns, discounts or dissemination of offers for goods or services from BABYCOOL, if you have authorized it. These communications aim to inform you of news, promotions, campaigns and other opportunities that you can benefit from.
BABYCOOL will retain your personal data for the period necessary to provide services, billing and comply with applicable legal obligations.
Your personal data may be communicated to BABYCOOL service providers, for the purposes of providing services, and to judicial, tax and regulatory authorities, for the purpose of complying with legal requirements.
At any time, you have the right to access your personal data, as well as to change them, oppose their processing, decide on automated processing of them, withdraw consent and exercise other rights provided for by law (except as regards to data that is essential to the provision of services by BABYCOOL, therefore mandatory provision, or to comply with legal obligations to which BABYCOOL is subject). If you withdraw your consent, this does not compromise the lawfulness of the processing carried out up to that date. You have the right to be notified, under the terms set out in the Regulation, if a breach of your personal data occurs, and you may lodge complaints with the authority(ies).

We have taken the necessary technical and organizational measures to comply with the Regulation, ensuring that the processing of your personal data is lawful, fair, transparent and limited to authorized purposes.
